Description
The Angola 10 Kwanza banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2012 by the National Bank of Angola. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse of the note displays The Thinker in Optically Variable Ink (OVI) and the BNA as its registration device. It also shows a portrait of Jose Eduardo dos Santos and Antonio Agostinho Neto who were former presidents of Angola. On the banknotes reverse are fishing boats, fishermen mending nets, and seagulls. The Coat of Arms of Angola is seen on the left part of the reverse and a tribal mask is on its upper right. The 166 x 66 mm paper bill comes with a solid security thread which has a demetallized BNA. Furthermore, it has an image of The Thinker as its watermark.
