Antique Edwardian Inlaid Faux Tortoiseshell Change or Coin Purse
This is an unusual change purse combining traditional inlaid tortoise with a shiny machine-made frame. It's sort of a transitional piece. The shell is in good condition, with some light scratches and small chips around the edges. The gold filled inlay is superb. The plated frame could be cleaned up a bit. The inside has four compartments and is made of cloth and very smooth leather. Condition as pictured.
