avid shorty ultimate cantilever brakes.
These are great brakes for alloy wheels for bikes that need good clearance and are set up for cantilever brakes. They can be used on wide tires and will not get clogged up with mud. Initial set up is fiddly and you may require help from an experienced mechanic, but once set up they work fine.
Normal wear and tear but still look sharp (I get compliments on set up but needed different brakes for my carbon wheels in wet and steep Seattle)
